What is a Specialist First Charge Mortgage?

A Specialist First Charge Mortgage is a mortgage secured against a property where the applicant or property may require a more individual approach than is typically available from mainstream lenders.

This could include clients with complex or multiple sources of income, self-employed applicants, previous credit issues, unusual property types or other circumstances that do not fit standard high-street lending criteria.
